Description
The Redline Systems Inc. 54″ John Deere Rock Bucket was designed specifically for the John Deere Series 1 and Series 2 subcompact tractor line. It is designed to be like the bigger skid loader rock buckets using a 2″, 3″ or 4″ tine spacing but scaled down to work on the John Deere tractors.
Many of our customers have purchased this for use as a 1025R Rock Bucket or 2025R Rock Bucket and it is compatible with most of the 1 and 2 series tractors.
It’s constructed from 1/4″ A36 plate so it’s built to handle the abuse but not be so heavy that the tractor can’t pick it up and still utilize is maximum lift capacity. Two 2″ tubes run on the top and bottom of the bucket to help with torsional twist in the bucket and keep it flat. It has a solid back with clean out slots cut into the back to help let loose material fall through but keep in the larger rocks and debris in the bucket. Built to look as if it were a factory made bucket. Great for contractors, farmer, landscaper and the large acreage home owner.

I bought this bucket because I recently cleared about an acre for a pasture and needed to clear away the roots,rocks and leftover material after cutting and grinding stumps. We had 22 loads of chert brought in to fill in a steep slope. It is full of rocks and very sandy clay. My rock bucket digs down and lifts the rocks out to save countless hours of manual labor. I have a lot of river rock to deal with at client properties. I bought the 2″ spacing bucket (because no one seems to make one smaller). Fast shipping to my commercial dock. Powdercoating is done very nicely, even coat and seems durable with the 20+ hours on the bucket so far. Opening in the back is great for letting it sift better. I had a few questions for Matt and he is very responsive and put all my concerns to rest. One thing to note for my tractor (1025r), I have better results sifting dirt when the loader is high and the bucket fully curled back, this will result in smaller rock/dirt hitting your tractor. I will take that over the backbreaking work of hand pulling the stones out though.

Purchased this for my John Deere 2032r. Very fast shipping & great communication. Wish I bought one a year ago, I got the 2″ gap bucket and have been using it to scoop rocks.
Lined up perfectly with the front loader quick attach. Very quick to install/remove and lighter than some of the others I looked at.
I tend to be a bit rough with my equipment and this has held up very well since I received it a little over a month ago. You can tell it was engineered to hold up to a fair amount of heavy use.

The rest of this review is mostly for potential buyers looking to use it for gravel removal out of dirt.
I have a 2″ spacing bucket. I really wish it came in 1″, because in my application, I have a ton of 1.x” gravel in the dirt.
Beware the horsepower limits of your tractor. I used the beefy tiller on my JD before trying to scoop out rocks, but my 2025R still bogs down a lot when I try to scoop the dirt with this (or any) bucket. You can skim the top 2″ without too much hassle though.
Also, THIS THING WORKS WONDERS for removing sage brush. To the manufacturer: You should add this to the product description. It saves SO MUCH time and backache. You just float the bucket about 3″ above grade, and drive at a moderate speed. It rips them right out.

Very happy with this purchase for by JD2320. The 3″ tine spacing is just right for sorting out the rocks in dry soil. It can get clogged if there are too many roots or the dirt is too moist, but shaking the loader helps to clear it. I was concerned that the tips would bend to easily, but after using for digging and raking, everything is perfectly straight. It is plenty strong and yet light weight enough to use easily and not rob lift capacity. I had shipped to my work ant it arrived in less than a week.

I have a John Deere 3033R. This rock bucket for the series 1 and 2 fits just fine on my series 3. I got the three inch spacing. I wanted the smaller and lighter bucket so if needed I could pickup more weight. I found that if I use my landscape rake to make small piles of roots and rocks I can then use this rock bucket to sift out the top soil and remove debris. The dryer the soil the better it works. The three inch spacing works well with my river rock that is around three to five inches on average. It was shipped to right away and I had good tracking info from Redline. I’m quite satisfied with my purchase. The quality is good and the people at Redline helped me chose the right bucket that would work for my needs. I would recommend them to others.

I’ve been prepping a site on my property for a 28′ x 30′ storage building. A lot of stumps and rocks, The rock bucket with 2 inch spacing came in handy for working the rocks and roots loose to get the site flat. Works better than the bucket and can be changed out in minutes on my John Deere 1025R. I’m using it now to sift the pile of topsoil to remove the larger rock, I load it up and use a three prong long handled garden rake to kind of rake and move the dirt so it falls through the tines. What’s left is all rock to set aside. It is working just like I thought it would and couldn’t be happier with the purchase, delivery and quality. Will be using it later on hauling firewood

I already own a rock bucket from another well-known dealer, but purchased this one because it is smaller, lighter and has narrower spacing. I really like the ability to get in between more tight spaces. I ended up welding some rebar horizontally across the back of the tines to prevent some of the smaller, flat rocks from slipping through. A great buy for the price – solid welding and tough… already have over 30 hrs on her.
